A small friendly group for special needs children and parents/careers
Started on 10th Febuary 2014 inspired by my own son Alfie.He was diagnosed with Gilliespie Syndrome at the age of 2.At this age he could not sit,speak,or move,yet by his own determination he can now talk,sit and walk with a frame.It has been a hard lonely journey for us as a family.And so we have set up this charity to surport any other families in alike position to come and relax in a friendly environment where there will be a safe play area indoors and out for children with special needs and their siblings,whilst the parents can have a well earned cuppa and chat.We are working on our website as we speak so pls look out for us soon.To enable us to build the safe environment we need to raise the funds, as this is a much needed facility in our local area.We plan to raise the funds needed from kind donations and all kinds of fundraising ideas.Any donations or help fundraising would be greatfully revived.Pls contact Mrs Lauren Mumford for any more information on our great plans.
